Drawing shapes is what you’ll be doing most of the time in PlatSketch. It’s easy to draw a shape and easy to undo changes or erase the whole shape. For advanced users, you can add more than one shape.
To draw a shape, just click around the edge of what you’re drawing. That’s it! If you make a mistake, you can click Undo
to take back your last change or Erase
to start over.

Drawing
Every time you click, it leaves a handle that the line gets stretched over. If you want to move the lines, just put your mouse over a handle and drag it to where you want it. If you want to add or delete handles on an existing line, see Advanced Drawing.

Moving Lines
Note that PlatSketch cannot measure the area of a shape that has crossing lines, so PlatSketch does not let you add crossing lines when you are drawing shapes. Your mouse cursor turns into
to show when a crossed line would result. If you need to measure a path, which could cross itself, you can use Path Drawing Mode.
